THE DEDICATO SUPPLY CHAIN

We have chosen to use wheat grown exclusively in Puglia because this area has always produced the best durum wheat in Italy, ripened naturally in the sun, without the use of chemicals.

Dedicato is the result of extensive work, a journey undertaken by people who have shared ideas and visions, who have worked hard together to achieve a common goal: produce HIGH QUALITY DURUM WHEAT that can be used to make excellent 100% Puglia pasta...from the field to the table.

The ability to produce high quality wheat is a great source of pride for us, as we believe it is of great importance for the present and future of our agriculture.  That is the MISSION of our farmers.

The farms and areas cultivated

STORAGE

The wheat is stored separately at the Cooperativa Agricola Fra’ Coltivatori di Apricena, where we store all of the wheat from the Capitanata area and at Semidaunia in Cerignola, where we store the best wheat from the lower Tavoliere area.

THE SEMOLINA PRODUCER

Molino DE VITA is set amid the Daunian hills, in one of the oldest areas of durum wheat production, dominating the plains in the province of Foggia. The company, owned and run by the De Vita family, combines tradition and technological innovation with great passion and dedication to an ancient craft and is a concrete example of how agriculture and industry can come together to promote local development. 

It is here that DEDICATO wheat becomes high quality semolina.

Here, semolina is produced using traditional methods, with SLOW milling to preserve the sensory characteristics of the product and the natural fragrance and aromas. COARSE grain semolina is extracted.

THE PASTA MANUFACTURER

At the Granoro pasta factory, set at the foot of Castel del Monte, passion, continued commitment to quality and development of the local area are key elements in the work performed every day!

This is where it all started for Granoro Dedicato, the pasta distinguished by its golden yellow colour and aroma of ripe wheat.

The production process is thorough and precise, rough extrusion is used and the pasta is dried at low temperatures to protect all of its qualitative and nutritional properties.
